Very rarely does this happen! A blissful week! Though the pressure is mounting up at work on account of the forthcoming ICSE exams, I guess I am not really feeling it! Thanks to a lot many things that happened throughout the week, that helped me recharge my mind and take it a for a blissful journey for a while….It was an awesome week filled with smiles and sunshine......So dear Monday, I am looking forward to you!

Today, I guess I should make the wheels of my mind start running! Long time since I looked back or looked ahead to come up with something innovative! Somehow, I had been and still is in that “dejected” kinda mood! I know I have not written for a while, I have not really done anything fresh, I have not tried to be in that energetic, enthusiastic mode, still I am happy! 

Generally, we say – There are only three things that women need in life – food, water and compliments!!!!! Lol! 

Sometime back, while talking to a person whom I admire a lot, I received this comment – Your enthusiasm is really contagious, I get energized after talking to you for a while!!!!!!!!!!! Man, that was something! 

Recently, one of my friends told me, “When I am upset, I love to sit and talk to you, it totally changes me and my attitude!” 

As these are from people who are really close to me, I can never take it as “flattery”. Don’t ever go in the direction to think that I am trying to list out the compliments I have received! What I am trying to do is to figure out where has all that enthusiasm gone!!!!!!! Where do I regain that “drive” to propel me forward! 

After the initial rounds of analysis, there are a few lingering questions in my mind! My mind rolled back and got me a few cues! I guess I would be one teacher who would say “Marks don’t matter much in life.” Sure, I do believe in that! I can surely find the clue here – Isn’t this ‘question paper – answer script’ thingy too uninspiring for a person like me? Yeah, I was caught in that trap for a while! But ,I had no choice! 

Time for Change! 

So, to sum up, there should be a few tasks! 

Task 1 – Whatever little bits of idea that are scattered in my brain have to be pulled together to come up with something really interesting for the kids! 

Task 2 – Determine never to be idle! 

Task 3 – I should rediscover the Bliss that work can offer Me! 

With these, I may be able to regain my composure and spirits and get hold of the energy that is infectious and enthusiasm that is contagious, something which I had possessed sometime back!!!!!!!!!!!

Weekend Assignment...

It has been quite sometime since I showed my face here. And, I can number out a lot many reasons for the same – all, which even I myself would not really believe!!!!!!! I had been hunting for an idea to come up with a post at least this weekend, but nothing struck me so forcefully so as to make one!

I may say, the weekend has been really dull, with nothing much to do!

Yesterday, the lil adventurer came up with a request, which was wholeheartedly welcomed by me! “Amma, my “All about me” chart has become too old, I would like to make a new one, that too a hand-made one, what do you think?"

Yup, the one which is already there was made when he was in LKG. That was a readymade one, which I bought at some exhibition. I thought his idea was good enough make my mood bright too…..

Nothing is more tiring in life than a dry weekend. After the kind of neurotic restless running that we do, we all do wish for a blissful weekend. A beautiful weekend can act like a psychological pain balm and this was exactly what I felt this weekend. ….our first weekend of the year was made blissful by Sabi chechi and Appu chettan…, we missed the kids though! Just like me, Sabi chechi has fallen in love with Pondy, so a visit with kids is already planned.

Though a short visit, I guess we could spend some quality time together, and that was what we liked about this weekend. Sight seeing wasn’t really in the list and so there was no running around. We really enjoyed the beach stroll with them. After a long long time, we got to listen to the police band, playing some of my favourite hindi songs…

The time frittered on shopping was great too…the Exhibition at the AFT ground was an awesome experience, specially because I had the company of another shopping freak!!!!!!! They had some exquisite stuff…
