The first thing that I did today after getting up, was to wish Usha, a 'Very Happy Anniversary'. And her reply did come right away!
"Oh!! Sunie!!! SURPRISE!! THANK YOU DARLING!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR WISHES!!"
Long distance and no calls for a while, but our friendship has always survived the test of time! Any other day, we can just open chat boxes or pick up the phones and be the same Sunie and the same Usha we used to be! We can talk about anything under the sun, without the slightest inhibition! Such friends are rare to find and this has always been a blessing! She is one friend whom I can always count on! Santhi Nagar life had always been exciting, bcoz of this bonding we have shared!
Though being in a tough state of mind, just thoughts about our good old days brings in a smile from the heart!
