A hol again on account of rains in Pondy! Though it was much-needed, it did not really yield good results! It has been long since I watched a Malayalam movie, so settled down to watch one. Making a choice was difficult, when ppl out here have different tastes! Ranjith Movies are always welcome and after having watched Pranchiyettan and the Saint, Mammotty- Ranjith combo seemed to have attracted all of us. But reviews said "Kadal Kadannoru Mathukutty' isn't a great watch. Yet, we ventured! True to the reviews, one could say that it isn't the type of commercial movies that has come from Ranjith. But, I just Loved every bit of it. Though it doesn't really fit the standards of a successful film and doesn't really satisfy a normal theatre goer, it does project a theme that is so bold and thought provoking! That last sentence in the movie, that too Ranjith's own powerful voice seems to be haunting me.That's about the movie!
All the social networking channels have only one tale to tell, Sachin's retirement! He is gonna be missed so much! Just now, read his farewell speech, and no doubt no other player could come up with such wonderful and well-thought words! No wonder, the world is crazy about him!
I guess that's it, nothing seems to come out! We do think things come out well, but the results tell us otherwise!
