Sometimes, rather, most often, life gets into a muddy runnel and you just feel it is really difficult to come out of it. This has been something I was experiencing for quite a while. I always would think of opening a new window and letting in some fresh air that would help me drive away these stinky thoughts. I just wanted to switch over my thoughts into some creative stuff, which will surely energize and bring back the “enthusiastic Me”. Some new ideas have dawned and let us wait for time to unveil them!

He has always been my favourite author and Tom my favourite fictional character. Yes, I am talking about Mark Twain, the American writer, who is often referred to as “The Father of American Literature.” Mark Twain was, is and will continue to be my favourite author!
For quite some time, I have been making earnest efforts to make Gauri place some interested in Tom. Thanks to my efforts, he has shown great interest in watching “The Adventures of Tom Sawyer.” It all started with me finding a copy of the novel in the junior library coupla days ago. I had read it long back, but read it again. When I narrated the “toothache” episode, Gauri loved it and I thought, he would like the movie too.
I had never seen the movie before, but was amazed to see that Tom is in the movie just fitted the actual Tom tailored by Twain. His naughty looks, his attire, his mannerisms – everything was well captured by the lil guy. It is almost like Tom just comes out of the novel and acts! Yeah, I can’t help adoring him.
The Tom sawyer always holds a special place in my fictional characters like list. but sad that i neither thought of watching the movie nor got a chance to watch it . but now after reading your post i have decided to watch it soon :) Tom Sawyer rocks!!!! :D :D
